PAYAIG is committed to advancing inclusive digital governance across Africa by empowering young people with the tools, knowledge, and platforms needed to actively shape policy and decision-making processes.
We operate at the intersection of capacity building, policy engagement, and community development, creating opportunities for African youth to move from learning to leadership.

At the core of PAYAIG’s work is training and education. We design and deliver structured, multilingual programs that provide fellows with a deep understanding of internet governance, cybersecurity, digital rights, and emerging technologies.
Our approach combines theory with practice ensuring participants not only understand key concepts but can apply them in real-world contexts.
PAYAIG supports youth participation in local, regional, and global policy processes. Through our programs and ambassador network, fellows gain exposure to governance forums, policy dialogues, and multistakeholder engagements.
We amplify African youth voices in conversations that shape the future of the internet and digital technologies.
Beyond training, PAYAIG invests in leadership. Our Ambassador program identifies and supports outstanding fellows who go on to mentor others, lead initiatives, and represent their regions.
This creates a ripple effect where knowledge is not only gained but shared and expanded across communities.
PAYAIG is building a pan-African network of young leaders connected across languages, regions, and disciplines. Through this community, fellows collaborate, share knowledge, and support each other’s growth.
This network is one of PAYAIG’s greatest strengths driving long-term impact beyond individual programs.
We contribute to the broader digital policy ecosystem by supporting research, publishing insights, and developing resources that inform stakeholders across Africa and beyond.
PAYAIG serves as a platform for knowledge exchange—bridging gaps between academia, policy, and practice
